Regardless of whether it happened naturally or it was created intentionally, today the split of Budo disciplines is secured by “religious” dogmas.

The advantage of this is it creates identity over the difference. You can practice your own style and your preferences!

The disadvantage is that learning opportunities may be closed by these dogmas. Would Aikido benefit from competition and Judo from harmony? Would not all outer disciplines benefit from the inner path? And very important!

Would unity without dogma no make it easier to achieve common goals (Budo2Business)?

Split we are … What is your take on this? Should we overcome dogma, learn more from others, and move closer or should we continue to be divided?
